CountFit (the "App") is a local-first workout tracker for recording exercise names and date-based repetition counts. This policy explains what information the current App handles, where it is stored, and how backup, restore, and deletion work.

2. Information the App Handles
The App handles information entered by the user or calculated inside the App, including:
- Exercise names created or edited by the user
- Date-based workout counts and local workout logs
- Derived daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics generated from those local records
The current version of the App does not provide account registration, login, payment processing, advertising ID collection, location tracking, contact access, photo access, microphone access, or HealthKit / Google Fit integration.
3. How Information Is Stored
Workout records are stored in a local SQLite database on the user's device. The current version of the App does not upload workout logs to an operator-controlled server and does not offer real-time multi-device sync.
- iOS: The database is stored under the app Application Support directory and may be included in iCloud device backups if the user enables that backup setting.
- Android: The database and related SQLite sidecar files may be included in Google Auto Backup and device transfer rules, depending on the user's backup settings.
This is operating system backup behavior, not real-time cloud synchronization.
4. Purpose of Processing
The App handles information only for the following purposes:
- Recording and displaying workout counts
- Providing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics
- Supporting core features such as renaming exercises, browsing dates, and resetting the current exercise history
- Supporting device-level backup and restore behavior
5. Third-Party Disclosure and External Transfers
In the current version, the App operator does not collect the user's workout records on a separate proprietary server and does not sell that data.
The current App also does not include a separate analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or account sign-in SDK.
However, if the user enables device backup features, backup copies of device data may be handled under Apple or Google backup policies.
6. Retention and Deletion
Workout records may remain on the user's device until the user edits, resets, or removes them, or deletes the App.
- The App includes a reset feature that deletes the history for the currently selected exercise only.
- Exercise names can be edited in the App.
- Deleting the App may remove local data from the device, subject to operating system behavior.
- Backup copies may remain for some time under Apple or Google backup policies.
7. User Choices
Users may directly take the following actions:
- Edit exercise names
- Change dates and update workout counts
- Reset the currently selected exercise history
- Delete the App
- Manage iCloud backup or Google backup settings on the device
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children, and the operator does not intentionally provide features designed to collect children's personal data.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if app features, operating policies, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes may be announced through an app update or by replacing this page.
